This is a summer staple around here! We do not let a season go by without making blueberry ice cream and/or milkshakes! If you have a simple ice cream machine, you can make this in about 30 minutes! (Be sure to freeze your ice cream insert for a good 24 hours).

Ice cream base:
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup milk
1/2 cup coconut sugar (or regular)
1 TBS vanilla extract
pinch of salt
Add ins: Blueberry jam, fresh blueberries
Optional: mini chocolate chips
Combine all ingredients except the add-ins in a glass pitcher or bowl. Mix well and turn on your ice cream machine. Pour mixture into the machine and after about 20 minutes, add your berries and jam. About 20 minutes later you’ll have delicious, fresh blueberry ice cream! Try this recipe with blackberries, peaches, or strawberries.
Pairs well with cobbler or more blueberry jam drizzled on top!
