Why I Created The Painted Post
We live in suuuuch a digital, fast-paced world. Everything is instant — messages, content, notifications, information. While that’s nice for a time, it can also leave us feeling rushed, distracted, and creatively drained. (me).
I wanted to create something different.
Something tangible.
Something gentle.
Something you can hold in your hands.
The Painted Post was created as a monthly invitation to slow down — to sit at the table with a cup of coffee, open the mail, and enjoy a small moment of beauty. It all started with a set of tiny prints (found at the bottom of this post) that I made for family, that sparked a love for watercolor I hadn’t had in a long time. I used to paint a lot when I was younger… you know, pre-social media haha. Combine that with my love for packages, mail, and pretty packaging, The Painted Post was created.
